A Note from Paul Abrey

Before becoming a driving instructor, I spent years teaching music to students of all ages, both in classrooms and one-on-one. This experience not only honed my teaching skills but also deepened my passion for helping others succeed. As a keen driver and car enthusiast, it was a natural progression to move into driving instruction, combining my passion for teaching with my enthusiasm for driving. I started out with BSM for a number of years before going independent in 2024 with my own driving school, the name Roadcraft Training, taken from my father's driving school he ran in the 80s and 90s

In addition to being an ADI (Approved Driving Instructor), I am a RoSPA Gold Standard Advanced Driver, a committee member for RoSPA (Central and South Devon), and an Honest Truth approved instructor. I am also licensed to deliver on road coaching for various Retraining Schemes.
