Website and Wix
Roadcrafttraining.co.uk is powered by Wix. Information entered into the website enquiry form is submitted through and may be stored within Wix’s systems, databases and applications. Wix may also collect technical information such as your IP address, browser, device information and website activity.
Wix acts as a service provider processing website information on behalf of Roadcraft Training. Information may be processed or stored outside the UK using appropriate data-protection safeguards. Further information is available in Wix’s Privacy Policy.
The website may use essential cookies required for it to operate. Any non-essential analytics or marketing cookies will be controlled through the website’s cookie-consent settings.
Total Drive and car payments
Roadcraft Training uses software supplied by Total Drive Software Ltd to manage pupil accounts, bookings, lesson records, progress, communications and payments.
When you make a card payment through the Total Drive app, the information required to process the payment is provided to Total Drive and its payment-processing provider, currently Adyen. Roadcraft Training does not receive or store your full debit or credit card number, security code or online banking credentials. We retain only the information needed to identify and account for the transaction, such as the payer’s name, payment date, amount, status and transaction reference.

Bank-transfer payments
If you pay by bank transfer, Roadcraft Training will receive the information displayed by its banking provider. This may include the payer’s name, payment reference, amount, payment date and limited bank-account information.
This information is used only to identify the payment, update your account, issue any necessary refund and maintain accounting and tax records. If additional bank details are required to make a refund, they will be used solely for that purpose. Roadcraft Training will never ask for your online banking password or PIN.

Retention periods
Roadcraft Training applies the following retention periods:

Enquiries that do not lead to training: 12 months from the last communication.

Learner and customer records: Six years from the date of the final lesson, session or other service. This includes contact details, address, date of birth, booking history, training records and relevant communications.

Payment, bank-transfer, refund, invoice and accounting records: Six years from the end of the financial or tax year to which the transaction relates.

Cookie and website technical information: For the period stated within the website’s cookie settings or the relevant service provider’s policy.
Information may be kept for longer where necessary to deal with an ongoing complaint, legal claim, safeguarding concern or HMRC enquiry, or where a longer period is required by law. At the end of the relevant period, information under our control will be securely deleted or anonymised.
Learner under 18
Some learner drivers may be under 18. Roadcraft Training will only collect information reasonably required to arrange and provide training, maintain appropriate records and process payments. Where a parent or guardian arranges or pays for training, their relevant contact and payment information may also be recorded.
Information sharing and security
Information may be shared with Wix, Total Drive, Adyen, banking providers, professional advisers or HMRC where necessary to operate the business, provide training, process payments, meet legal obligations or protect legal rights.
Appropriate steps are taken to protect personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, loss or disclosure. Access is limited to those who reasonably need the information.
Roadcraft Training does not use personal information to make decisions based solely on automated processing.
Your rights
